AUTO DETAILS By Custom Detailing, LLC is a North Florida family owned and operated small business. Tom Wheeler, Owner & Operator, has been detailing in the Tallahassee and surrounding areas since 1998, when he ran two dealership shops for AUTO DETAILS. In 2003 Tom opened his own mobile detailing business, Custom Detailing By Tom Wheeler, LLC. Tom went full speed ahead with his expertise in paint correction, attention to detail, and quality customer service. In no time Tom became one of the most well known, skilled detailers in the North Florida area. In 2013 he was presented the opportunity to take over, and run AUTO DETAILS. Tom made the decision to merge the top two Tallahassee established detailing businesses into one, and AUTO DETAILS By Custom Detailing, LLC was started. In 2016 Tom began researching ceramic coatings to expand his detailing experience. Through trial and error, Tom concluded that Gtechniq North America ceramic coating applications were the leaders in the industry with the best products available on the market. Tom became the first detailer in the area to complete hands on training, and then received full installer accreditation through Gtechniq North America in 2019. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the local detailing and ceramic market with over 300 successful coatings to date.
